I'm in a rut with everything right now, my routine and music. But whenever I am running or going for a walk, I pass people and I just want to ask them what they are listening to on their iPods.

So I figured I'd ask you guys. What's on YOUR iPods/other players when working out?

Right now, I'm mainly listening to Swollen Members or Pinks latest album when exercising.

I listen to the following when working out...

    Judas Priest
    Disturbed
    Dimmu Borgir
    Nine Inch Nails
    Smashing Pumpkins
    Marilyn Manson
    Beastie Boys
    Guns n Roses
    Nirvana

    Essentially the heavier stuff.

I listen to Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Rianna (she has a lot of upbeat club/techno music that really gets me moving) Jay-z, The Roots, Mos Def, Common basically a lot of hip hop. I find myself listening to underground political hip hop while I'm walking running etc. I spend my time listening to the message and don't even realize how far I have gone. when i'm in the yoga zone I listen to a lot of Miles Davis, Dizzy, Lauryn Hill (unplugged), Adelle

I was on a Rhianna kick a few months ago.

If you like hip hop, you should try Prevail, Freestyle or Swollen Members, they all have some good beats that can get your bootie shakin'. Good workout music!

Old school rock is pretty good, I also listen to a lot of pop punk (try running to it, and speeding up any time there's a key change.... FUN!). Recently my favourite to work out to is Paper Planes by MIA.

Britney's upbeat songs are awesome to work out too, mainly her unreleased ones tho, which I prefer a lot more to her singles.
Then, some individual songs I like to run to:
Destinys Child - Lose My Breath
    Beyonce - Crazy In Love
    Rhianna - Disturbia
    Kylie - Fever
All American Rejects - Gives You
Cat Dolls - any of them

I'm a pop/rock girl! Although I've only listed pop songs here. They're the best ones to get you pumped tho.
