i gave blood for the first time weeks ago, i fainted the first time by everybody does.

they could not find a vien the secend time, and the third, i was in tears i wanted them to take my blood what ever the cost, but it's policy.

the fourth i gave okay, the sixth they only managed to get a little blood, and the same the seventh.

i gave perfectly ok the 8th time in april 2009, but i fainted again as it had been ages since i gave the full pint last time.

i hope to give again in september.

i have registered my details to go on the bone marrow list, the registration process can take weeks, i'm still waiting. i'll try it once, if i don't like it i'll leave, but have to wait and see.

i am type "0", O any can have, it's compatible with a b and ab pos ab neg.

there are so many people who are perfectly capable of giving blood, but won't which is rather selfish, the blood stocks need more donors.

Ras... I have laughing gas at the Dentists.. I swear in my past life, I died of needles....i have no idea why but they way get to me..........


It works for me, no one can touch me without .........it's a fear.. it's real..

Sure, in addition, I am spiritual.. but I get over it, .. it's a fear, i have to deal with it.

I appreciate therefore the fear but what a beautiful thing you could contribute? If your fear is only needles, consider my option, worked for me..

I have been wanting to donate blood!! I have had to postpone it due to abnomal menstrual bleeding! I am O- which is the universal donor and there are a lot of people that need blood!!! How often are you donating blood Louise? You said you gave blood the first time a couple weeks ago and you've already attempted 8 times to donate in a matter of weeks?!?!

I donate blood once in a while. About a year ago I got a flyer in the mail about giving blood. decided to try it. sure the needle part maybe alittle scary, but it feels nice afterwards beeing a donor

I love donating blood. I'm A neg (RH NEG). I hate needles but I figure a moments pain to save lives. Kinda worth it
