Assuming you have talked to him about the issue, what has he said? If you haven't talked about the issue, that's the first thing that needs to happen. Hopefully, he'll respect your wishes and compromise.

Are you newlywed? Let me guess these 2 friends are either a) single or b) not into their marriage?

I don't think you can "get rid" of your husbands friends... I understand what you are saying you don't want them there everynight on the dot as your husband comes thru the door. You want a moment of his time... but his friends are kind of buttin in all the time.

Your husband should have friends that feel welcome in your home as should your friends. The best route if these guys are single .... hook them up with one of your single girlfriends. If they are married get to know their wives start inviting them too

Yeah Joy, that would be my guess too that they are single friends or guys that are unhappy in their marriage. What grown men wouldn't realize what they are doing invading your time, they are either selfish, clueless or a little bit of both.

In a way, its nice, if your husband has to be attached at the hip to these 2 guys I know for me, Id rather it be at my house so that I can at least SEE the guy rather than him being at his friends 5 days a week all night.

But if he isn't paying you a bit of attention when they are over , he might as well be at their house so that you don't have to cook and clean up after them.

Id pick a couple nights a week where I made the environment reallllllly cozy... where I put out snacks, don't interrupt , ask who needs a cold beer from time to time and thats about it.

And the rest of the nights make it not so cozy. No snacks, lots of interruptions no offering off refreshments, maybe invite a few of your own over to discuss their periods very loudly and childbirth or something equally traumatic for bonding men to be subjected to.

Maybe they will get the hint, oh hey its better to go on Sundays and Mondays thats when mollie gives us beer. Never go on tuesdays thats when her aunt milda comes over for her pedicure in front of the tv..

It sounds like you like the guys, they are probably not bad guys, but if you set up bounderies like embracing the heck out of them on some nights so that they know your not trying to take him away... but requesting some time alone on other nights is a pretty fair swap.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
