I must express this...I'm a little worried now. I have'nt eaten anything since yesterday and I still don't have any desires to.The only thing I've put in my stomach are ibuprofens because i just started my period yesterday and can't stand the pain. This is'nt the first time I've skipped a day or two without eating so now I'm starting to worry.I've also been very depressed again.I was rejected on Facebook yesterday by someone who said my pictures looked ugly. So I feel like I'm in a pit today.

Do all these signs mean I'm anorexic???? This has been going on for years and I have'nt told anyone until now.

    Hey sweet.

Depression and painful periods, can make anyone not want to eat.. You state that you only do it for a day or two and usually, there are reasons why it occurs, such as what I have listed in this paragraph.

I think off by memory your a vegetarian, if you eat normally other than when you feel like this, then no your not...

It's when you can't stand the look of food every single day and you don't eat pretty much every single day...

As for the facebook thing... You have to question why someone says that? Their own low self esteme perhaps? The fact that you allow yourself to be you, yet she can't do that? Or because she is just nasty or she has a chip on her shoulder.

There are many reasons why someone comments like that, and you need to realise that there's always a motive behind viscious attacks.. Always.

She has won if you allow that to get to you, as an example... Your stronger than that..

No Isabell, you are not anerexic at all and those given are not the real symtoms so please do not try to talk yourself into another problem...

Realize who you are and what you are worth to yourself. Then ask yourself where you want to be five years from now and will this husband take you there...

If he refuses counseling today then it's obvious tomorrow won't happen. You gave him time to reach within himself and he reached elsewhere instead...

The pain and memory is never forgotten but change will lighten the load...

It's about you, Isabell, and your own future now, so face it and move on. Love does not work if you have to constantly fight for it...

    Good luck and God bless...

Why would you allow "rejection" from someone on a website to affect you so deeply? Get off the facebook and get out and interact with some people face to face. Many people online take advatange of a facade to act very cruely, why open yourself up to that?

We all experience times when our appetite varies. Make certain what you do eat is healthy and then take a nice walk, leave the Ipod at home, smile at people, get yourself some flowers or a some balloons.

No I don't think you're anorexic ... when I feel really upset I get no desire to eat either. We all have our reactions to stress.
But I do have one point to make for your health: Ibuprofen on an empty stomach will seriously mess up your stomach, which it's bad for anyways. Try to stuff in a bread crust or anything plain that you might be able to get down if you've just got to take it on an empty stomach.

I would worry if this goes on for weeks at a time, but fortunately this sounds like something that is only set off by depression or sickness, which I think is normal for a lot of us. Personally, I've had the flu, and I haven't eaten more than a couple crackers in three days. Digestion is an energy consuming process, and when you're stressed or sick, it slows down.

Because of your period and the meds, I think your stomach is upset. I suggest snacking on things like crackers or pretzels, which absorb stomach acid and help it settle. Even if you're not eating meals, it's good to snack whenever possible.

Are you on birth control? Not only will it help ease the pain or periods but it also increases appetite.
