I would try here to see if anyone has had similar issues.
History: I am on Yaz and have been for several years, never had a problem. Second over a year ago I started taking Budprion to quit smoking. In June I started to wean (under doctor's instructions) myself off of it.
In May, I doubled up on my birth control in order to stop my period. This lead to an irregular period in June, one day off spotting. In July my period was late, really short, and I had some wonderful side effects with it.
I started having panic attacks. Extremely bad panic attacks. I had horrible, horrible cramping, sick to my stomach, trouble sleeping, eating problems. My hair seems to be a little thined out on top, acne (well more of it), fatigue, sleep problems, poor concentration and memory problems.
I am wondering if I should see an endocrinologist or my obgyn. Has anyone had panic attacks during their menstrual cycle?
I don't know about some of the conception control they are making these days. How could skipping a period be worth any of this? It certainly does sound like there is a connection. Better check with your doc but it sounds like you need to get off of this type and use something else.
