Take what ever your total calorie intake for the day and break it down as follows:
Protein 15-20%
Carbohydrates 40-60%
Fats 20-30%
So if your total calorie intake for the day is 1500 than that 1500 calories should be broke down in the percentages above. This will help your body get the appropriate nutrition that it needs while losing weight. I hope that makes sense and helps.
