I don't have the sweating problem, but in my opinion, all female deodorant sucks. I use Secret Powder Fresh Invisible Solid, the deodorant itself is fine, but the invisible solid that these companies claim is a complete farce.

If I wear something sleeveless and black a mans deodorant works best, but I don't like the smell. I mean I like the smell on a man, but not on me, I don't want to smell like men's deodorant.

    Sorry - rant over!

    Hi Fatin,
I've tried every deodorant out there and I've always found secret to be the best. I recently switched from regular to clinical strength. I have a friend who used to get this from the dermatologist. One big difference is you put it on at night. Because your body temp is lower, it doesn't sweat off. The derm. told my friend it plugs your sweat glands so you don't have so much moisture. You can put it on in the morning, too, but definitely at night.

I bet the derm. has something stronger too, if that doesn't work for you.

    Good luck!

If its that bad that you look and feel like you threw water on yourself, I would agree with KB - You should go see a dermatologist (medical skin specialist) and get something thats "clinical" strength (prescription).

Try the clinical strength Secret deodorant. That is what you need to put on. You have to put it on at night after your bath or shower and you can put a little on in the morning but you don't have too. I had problems with deodorant and that is the only one I can take. Try it.

Deodorant and antiperspirant are two different things, although they are often sold in one product. Antiperspirants do clog the sweat glands and there is a school of thought that they may contribute to breast and/or lymph cancer and other health issues. You body produces sweat for a reason, stopping a natural body process usually isn't a good idea, putting strong chemicals on your body isn't a really good idea either. You may be sensitive to the chemicals.

Deodorants inhibit the growth of the bacteria that causes you to smell "sweaty". There are products such as a deodorant crystal whick work pretty well at this without harsh chemicals and which aren't antiperspirants. If you are sensitive, this may be your best option.

Lots of leafy greens and taking chlorophyll will act as an internal deodorizer.

Also do not apply these products right after shaving your underarms, as you are more likely to develop a rash then.
