how do you delete posts?

Just wondering, is there a reason posts can't be edited? This is the only forum I've ever seen with a disabled edit function...

We dont have an edit function because it was being abused. Since members couldn't delete their posts, they would edit them down to nothing, and we're left with an empty shell of a thread. You can't run a delicate-subjects forum like you can any other board, or else you'll be left with nothing.
