    Hello,
I am a 21 year old college girl. I am about 118 lbs. and about 5'4.
I have had this ongoing problem for as long as I can remember. I have a little tummy fat that sticks out. I work out about 6 days a week. I run about 5 miles or I ride my bike. I also do set-ups, lunges, push ups etc... I drink a good amount of water and I have a pretty healthy diet. Yet this little pouch will not go away. Very frustrating. What am I doing wrong? Is it hereditary?

We all have stubborn areas on our body that are more inclined to store fat and less inclined to remove fat when we're in a caloric deficit. There are a bunch of reasons for this that we won't get into.

But starting from the ground up, are you in a caloric deficit? If you're not, you're not giving your body any reason to tap into it's stores (fat).

That said, I'm not sure losing weight at your already small size is what's best. Maybe your training routine can be optimized to produce better results in terms of body composition.
