Question about Nuvaring

I am about to start Nuvaring. My doctor told that I could start it any time regardless of where I am in my cycle. I am pretty much right in the middle (had my period about 2 weeks ago). If i insert it today - do I keep it in a full 21 days? (which will make my time between periods longer than normal). Or take it out when I am regularly supposed to have it?

Please let me know ASAP as I plan to do so later tonight or tomorrow, thanks!!

It could delay your cycle and sort of reset it, you know? It may take a cycle or two for you to be on a schedule.
