    Hi everyone,

I posted on here a few weeks ago about an early period...
    http://www.womens-health.com/boards/...n-periods.html

ok so I have been on Yasmin for 3 yrs. I had a period Aug. 5, then another period started up on Aug. 18, while I am still on BC. I was planning on stopping the BC within the next 2 months, but when I got a second period in a month, I decided to stop altogether. My bf and I decided we would try to get pregnant within 6 months to a year, and knowing how it may take up to a year to get pregnant after coming off of BC, I wanted to stop soon.

Now, my problem is that I should have had a period on Sept.16, and have still not gotten it. Last week around the 13-14 I started cramping and backache, the usual before a period and took some midol. I took a home pregnancy test on saturday, it was negative.

I was sick last week with a cold and sinus and ear problems, but not taking any meds besides tylenol.

Any ideas as towhat's going on?

    Thank you all.

It's may take a bit for your period to get back to what you consider normal after being on the pill. Obviously doesn't explain the two periods in August, but can definitely explain the lack of one so far. Did you have any spotting when you were cramping last week?

Also, the stress of being sick could cause it to be delayed as well.

    Hi again
Soooooo just to update you all
I still haven't had a period, but have had cramps and stuff for a few days again, took some midol. Today I decided to go out at lunch and get another pregnancy test just to reassure myself and to my surprise I see a faint positive line!!! I knew it, I even told a friend that with my luck I would get pregnant the first month I was off birth control!
So, I am surprised, anxious, worried... I will go buy one of those digital ones tonight just to make sure. I have to think of a fun way of telling my bf!

    Thanks for listening!
