(i posted this in the wrong forum i think, so i reposted this question here)

here's my dilemma: (if you wanna call it that!!!)

What do you do if you are in a relationship with someone and you are the more outgoing person who loves to go out (whether its to parties, out to different restaurants, museums, the beach, etc) while he is more of a homebody??? Everytime yall do go out, he'll agree to go (most of the time) but you feel like you have to drag him. I love it when we spend time together (whether it's a quiet friday/saturday night at home or we're out), but i wish that sometimes he would come up with fun things for us to do too, instead of sitting at home ALL THE TIME!!!

My friend says that it's probably a good thing, since yall are so opposite, yall actually balance each other out. I dont know how true that is.....

My hubby and I are kind of like this. This goes all the way back into HS for the two of us. I'm the complete extrovert to his introvert.

I'm very outgoing, I'll talk to everyone in a room. He laughs whenever we go somewhere because he says I have a stamp on my forehead that says come talk to me because people will just start talking to me randomly in stores and stuff. He's not what I would consider shy, but maybe quiet. Until you get to know him. He's reserved and private, I'm talkative and obnoxious. Sometimes all he can do is grin and shake his head. He's not necessarily a homebody, but he can stay put where, if I don't go anywhere for a day, I get serious cabin fever.

But we've been together for 14 years. I actually believe that the saying opposites attract pretty much explains us. But now that we have kids, all activities work around them. Keeping in mind that I generally plan all our activities and pretty much always have.

    They do say opposites attract..

Imagine if you were both fiery? Then where would you be?

If you can communicate and compromise your 90% there and if your happy together that's all that matters if you think about it.
