I like reading and hearing about ghost stories. Especially when they're told late at night with all the lights out. Do you believe in ghosts??? I sure do...I really know there's a ghost in my kitchen because my stove turned on a couple of times and nobody touched it.

Anyways I've been watching ghost videos on Youtube lately too..I found this one about a ghost girl crying. I wonder if it's real but it does look eerie....

Other than that since Halloween's coming soon ,I felt this would be a cool thread. I'd like to share some stories and hear about other ghost stories.

that did look scary! O.O i don't think it's real, but...it looked scary. lol.

i believe in ghosts, myself. while i've never seen one per say, i've had a lot of weird experiences in my house. mostly noises. and i always feel like i'm being watched or like something is behind me. you know how sometimes you can just sense things like that? yeah. and when i walk down my hallway (especially at night) i almost have to run into my room and sit on my bed and look at the door because i get so freaking scared.

Oops no outbound links!? Sorry... just go to Youtube and search "Ghost Crying"and see the video we saw....I was gonna post another one but oh well.Another one called "Pantry Ghost" is really scary and it's in the same series.

I have a story to tell, one I've been kinda really into lately. It's an urban legend around my parts. The story is called "The White Witch of Niles Canyon". I used to hear about it all the time while growing up. There's an area in Fremont,CA called Niles and there's a canyon there. Around the early 1920's a girl got into an accident on her horse carriage while going to her wedding. For decades later ,people would see a woman walking on the side oif the road around after midnight wearing a dirty wedding dress looking lost ,and when they turn around to see if she's still there she disappears. One popular version of this story is that while driving after midnight through Niles Canyon, there's a girl who hitchhikes on the side of the road wearing a tattered wedding dress. She tells the driver to take her to San Francisco to a specific address. While the driver proceeds to take her to that address, she disappears midway but the driver still goes to that address to make sure they're not crazy. When they arrive there a woman answers the door and the driver tells her about the girl in the wedding dress. The woman than says that her daughter has been gone for decades and that was her ghost.

I've heard people actually seeing someone up there while driving late at night and all of a sudden they would disappear. Dang I just find that story insanely creepy lol. I'd love to see a movie about it. I've only been up to that canyon once when I was a teenager but did'nt see anything. All the while I was scared because an ex boyfriend of mine drove me up there late one night and the windy roads in the darkness with the expectation of a ghost was really exciting. I'd love to meet that ghost, she seems cool lol.

hahahaha yeah that's a cool story. it reminds me of something i saw on TV yesterday called 13 curves. it's the same principle, car accident on wedding night, dead bride. creepy. lol.

i dunno what this thing in my house is, what's up with my weird feelings.

OH! here's something. i've had cats my entire life and since I've been born we've had three cats die (pumpkin was hit by a car, mickey was just old, and rainbow was sick) and they used to be allowed to sleep upstairs. (they're stuck downstairs now because my dog goes in their litterbox. disgusting.) anyway, sometimes when i'm laying in my bed at night i SWEAR i feel a little body jump up onto my bed but i know my cats are downstairs. how weird is that? the night that rainbow (my first cat. mickey was my parents' cat, but rainbow was mine. i chose and named her. she was like.....my best friend. i still miss her =[) died i felt that little jump and then i could swear i felt purring. rainbow came to say that she still loved me even though she was gone<3

I don't believe in "Ghosts" but I believe in Demons. There is one that lives in my aunt and uncle's old house. They saw it quite a few times. It was a little girl in a white dress. When they moved my cousin moved into their old house and she saw it as well. My brother also saw one at his friend Mark's grandfather's house. I've never seen one. At my other aunt's house they've had weird things happen. They've had rocking chairs rock on their own and all kinds of garbage. If that ever happened to me I would move out immediately. That's not something I like and the idea of it really scares me. There have been a lot of things like that happen with my mom, aunts and uncles. Just plain creepy.

A little girl in a white dress but is'nt really there??? Ooooooooh now that's creeeeepy!!! She's suppose to be a demon too?....dang I believe that. When I'm not in my room, I always feel like someone else is in there. Some things have moved around my house that my roommate and I can't explain.

I dunno if I believe in demons much but I don't doubt they exist. I really believe in ghosts. It's like if I were to go to a cemetery late at night by myself, and it's all foggy....you bet I'd be scared. I had an ex boyfriend who played a prank on me once. Drove me through a cemetery late one night and spooked the h*ll outta me by playing a Halloween sound effects tape in his car. OMG he said I looked pale because I was that creeped out. I dunno but I felt alot of spirits going through me that night,it was weird. After that I felt sick.

I stayed with this guy whose apartment was built around 1850. It once was a brothel......I remember just walking to the bathroom late at night felt really creepy. It's that feeling that you're not alone walking through a dark hallway. I always took a flashlight and spoke out to the ghosts in his apartment lol. They were cool ghosts tho. I think they were sexy ghosts too.

That Niles Canyon ghost story always creeps me out. People have actually seen her up there.

Google TAPS paranormal, they're a ghost hunting team (tv show) people would tell them of places they believe is haunted then they would test it out. There is some really scary stuff they have caught on camera!!

I've never necessarily dealt with ghosts, but I always had that "feeling" in my last apartment, like there was always someone there. I'd be home alone sometimes but I would always have that "being watched" feeling. I never base things like that on feelings alone though so I just ignored it.

Well, the day I moved out, I had a cop there (long, irrelevant story) and he was talking to me outside while the guys were getting my stuff. He said that back in the 80's, a guy who lived in our apartment hung himself in our staircase. I thought that explained everything and it really creeped me out.

The company I work for has a property with a ghost. It showed up recently when it went on the market. It is apparently a former owner who's energy hasn't moved on. The LOML has interacted with it and says it benign, nobody worries about it.
