What exactly was it that made you see the doctor in the first place? I mean, what was the initial problem? I know you mentioned you were tested for STDs, but did you get a hormone test? I just wonder what the doctors basis is for thinking it may be early menopause.
Have you been on birth control at all? Birth control can make your hair start to fall out. I know this from personal experience. Birth control can also make you seem almost menopausal in some cases. Hairloss can occure in women with menopause, but it also happens for a lot of other reasons to women who are NOT in menopause.
You could have a hormone imbalance which may be completed unrelated to early menopause. That would be easilly treated with hormone therapy.
It's hard to really give advice without knowing more. If you are not comfortable or satisfied with what your doctor has diagnosed, get a second opinion.
