What positive thing happened to you today

Be it a thought or an action.....

I walked to Bunnings, 20 mins, got my plants (had planned on a taxi back including stopping at the shops) but walked back as well. Bike track, hills ouch.

Got home but before that contemplated and can I also walk to the shops, no way tomorrow.

Ahha.. Walked to the shops, 15, got what i wanted walked back UP HILL lol, 15 mins... ouch legs felt it, I felt it. Dog said "what about me?"... mmm... so, walked her as well.

It's positive not sure how I will feel tomorrow, running a bath, cooking a roast, but point being I went beyond what I thought I was capable of and so.... it's positive.

That was my day, tomorrow off course will only result in planting and walking the dog, for me it's Sunday... no work.

So what did you do that was "positive today".

I finally got Marty's package sent off today. Can't wait for him to get it.

I bought myself three pairs of kneehighs which I wanted and needed.

I got a great cup of coffee at Starbucks. (Iced Caramel Macchiato)

Something else happened but I can't decide if it's positive so won't post it.

I'm having so much trouble sleeping. I can't seem to do it lately. I'm so tired that I'm not even tired. It's ridiculous but I really should try. My company left about an hour ago so I guess I'm unwound enough to try. Goodnight!

Woke without the alarm, feeling well rested. Had a lovely shower and now feel clean and fresh. Am ready for tea, a muffin (LOML gave be some nice lemon poppy seed ones yesterday) and my book Born to Run, which I am really enjoying. Today is off to a good start.
Yesterday was really good, we had a few challenges with some work (the shop cut all our glass wrong) but we got through it and went to a nice reception for a freind who is retiring at 80 - she and I plan to do some hiking and such. Got my son from school, his soccer practice was out early because they won the day before. Then LOML and I went out to do a couple more jobs, watched Numbers, gave him a massage, had a little fun. The whole day was good. You know it's what you make it, if we had let the miscut glass get us worked up, we would have just messed up our attitudes for the entire day, Instead we worked it out, got all the windows repaired and it was fine. Just took a little extra time.

Just got back from cashing my checky. Took a cab and I went to the new Halloween store too and bought cat ears,a wine goblet with a spider on it and some new fishnets. Took a hot bath now, did my hair, put on my new top.... my roommate's not home so I think I might do my vibrator too lol. And I might play some music really loud.

Despite the acrimony of this week and feeling overall sick, I actually feel okay now. I'm already looking forward to the new year. I think I'm about done with this crazy decade.
