There's no reason not to have sex during pregnancy unless the Dr has advised against due to bed rest, high risk pregnancy, etc.

Not only is pregnant sex awesome it is completely normal and healthy for you and baby.
Unless.... As Lana stated you are high risk.
Also as you get near the end it can help ease delivery and even get labor started if you are overdue.

Yep - I remember with my first my Dr suggested we start humping like rabbits (well, not in those exact terms) to try and induce labor.

He will never get near the baby. The closest he would get is if he would bump your cervix. Baby is way on the other side of your cervix. You should speak with you Dr. About this. They can give you better details.
Here is how I think about it... when you have sex your hubby/boy friend is in your vagina. Your cervix is at the back/top of the vagina, your uterus (where baby grows) is behind the cervix.

I hear you Lana, we tried like crazy to get my little guy out. He was 2 weeks overdue. DH loved it... Good thing he enjoyed because I ended up with another C-section.

lol - didn't work for us either... I didn't want pitocin either, so my Dr stripped my membranes. Two hours later, I sneezed and my water broke, but ended up with a c-section too.

Like PJ said, he won't get close enough to hurt the baby. Google sex while pregnant. The baby is behind your cervix, not in your vagina, his penis is not going to go through there. Talk to your Dr at your next appt. Having an orgasm while pregnant is strangely refreshing and always made me feel really good, not to mention sleep really well.

I was super horny too especially month 5 thru 7. Keeping those muscles in shape will make labor easier too.
