Default Period too long on Nuvaring

I just started using the ring. I put it in on the 23rd and still havent stopped bleeding fully. It is kind of light but not just spotting. It's been constant for 12 days now. I have never had a period last longer than 7 and even that is long for me. I am a VERY regular 5-day period person. I know this may just be due to the fact that it is new and my body has to adjust but I want to check if I should be really worried and/or if this has happened to anyone else??!!

I had quite the opposite experience. My period would only last for 3 -4 days even right from the beginning and it was incredibly light most months except for maybe 2 months during my 3 year use of Nuva Ring.
