Hey there.... I know fish oil is the source of vitamin D. and all other benefits of it. but feeling strange whether it can be used for dieting purpose or not.
fish oil will not help you lose weight. it can help supplement a healthy diet but fish oil itself doesn't really have any weight loss properties. it's more known for its cardiovascular health effects. i strongly recommend eating fish (oily the better) or taking supplements if that's your thing instead. just make sure you get it from reputable companies..typically not ones that spam on forums...

stanley you posted on an old thread, one of which was left open as the discussion of gleening some answers on this topic is worth leaving.
I give fish oil to my dogs, to help their coats stay shiny and skin not dried out (dermatitis) you will also note that Grasshopper kindly answered you, you've posted one liners since but not returned here for the answer, from a member whom took time to answer.
We'd appreciate your feedback therefore.

Fish oils are great for my skin. For older people they can also reduce joint swelling. I always get my daily dose of my Omega 3's. I try and keep my DHA and EPA intake regular. I feel great when I do.

Fish oil is good, personally? Just read the contents and make sure it is to the standard you want .... I don't see how one brand is better than another, fish oil is fish oil...as I said, read the contents on the bottle....
Fish oil is available everywhere, I don't trust anything purchased that you consume over the net, that's just my personal opinion........

Omega 3 is also particularly good for brain health. Eskimoes who eat a lot of oily fish have very low levels of dementia. Studies have shown this is due, in part anyway, to Omega 3.
Its good for skin and brain....
