Did he ejaculate inside of you?

If so, yes, there is a chance you could be pregnant. It all depends on what part of your cycle you were at when you two had sex, the volume of his ejaculate and a host of other factors.

It's exciting that you two have taken a step in your relationship, but disappointing that you two didn't practice safe sex. If you two aren't ready to follow safe sex, you shouldn't be having it.

Are you two willing to accept a lifetime of raising a child?
Are you out of school? Are you financially stable? Are you mentally ready?

If you answered "No" to any of those questions, then you should not be having unprotected sex.

If you two did this in the past 2 or 3 days, I'd go and get the morning after pill from the nearest planned parenthood. I'd then think really hard about how my decisions can affect a lot more than just the people around myself.

Best of luck to you two.

Plan B (aka. Morning After pill). Then get yourself some birth control; They come in pill, shot, sponge, I.U.D. and other forms. Be safe and have fun.

I think they've covered it. Remember conception control is to prevent pregnancy, it won't protect you from STIs.

I agree with everyone. Good luck!

Ditto. You should always be cautious you might contract STIs if you are not careful. Be checked regularly by an OB-GYN. Once you become sexually active you must get a PAP smear.

Having sex for the first time doesn't make you a woman or not. Some people wait until they're married--maybe in their 20's. Would you say that those people are children and not women/men until they have sex?

    Anthropologically speaking .....
Biologically speaking, not so much. But society likes to make children out of adults much of the time.

LOL. The op hasn't been back yet. But having sex is a milestone in certain ways, learning to have good sex, however is quite another thing.

And in some ways, a challenge to most couples.
