Hi Jessica,
Here are some tips that I use for keeping at bay the puffiness and dark circles that most of us seem to have problems with as we get older. I keep a eye mask in the ridge and use it around my eye area several times a week and this really helps keep the puffiness away. I also never pull or tug the skin around my eye area, when I wash my eyes I gently rub and pat dry. When I apply eye cremes I gently pat them on with my ring finger until they are absorbed. I also use an eye creme that contains kojic acid ( that comes from mushrooms) which is a natural skin lightener. It reduces the dark appearance. It also contains plant products such as licorice, cucumber and camellia sinensis leaf oil and these help decrease the puffiness around the eye area. I also take a daily supplement with anti-oxidents that help with keeping my skin looking younger. You want something that has Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E,Alpha Lipoic Acid, Coenzyme Q10 and flaxseed oil because they all benefit healthy skin care. Just be gentle with the eye area and stay away from harsh cleansers and lotions. Most people just have to find products that work for them through trial and error. Good luck and I hope you found some of this information useful.

Thanks Rosie! What eye mask do you use? Do you mean like one of those gel eye masks people sleep with or some kind of paste?

I use one of those gel eye masks that you can purchase at most drug stores or at walmart. They are not very expensive.

i just read on yahoo.com that green tea can help these kinds of things. haha i haven't tried it, but i mean it's just tea. if you're going to buy a box of it it's not that expensive and if you're a tea drinker, you can just finish it up later!
