Haha true.Play any book or song backwards and you'll hear stuff...I know that Satanists and Freemasons have nothing in common,but doing a search on Jay-Z turns out he's rumoured to be both.

I always wondered about that backwards stuff. I mean who does that? Why? They've got too much time on their hands I think.

My mom has that Led Zeppelin record with 'Stairway to Heaven' on it and I read somewhere that if you play one of the verses backwards,it says something Satanic. So one day I took my mom's record and actually played that part backwards and I actually heard something creepy. Not sure if they did that on purpose but it's crazy.

I also did a search on Youtube about that and turns out alot of people put hidden messages in their songs.

Our brains can't pick up backwards phonemes and process them into words, sentences, messages, etc.
Most "hidden messages" are total hogwash. You hear what they do because you've been conditioned to hear it, really you can't measure whether it's there unless someone turns on the backwards recording, says HEY WHAT DO YOU HEAR, and doesn't say anything about what it "could be.' Otherwise you've already suggested a solution to the phoneme puzzle that backwards words basically are.
Anyone who tells you that we can has an ulterior motive ... they want you to spend $20 in their collection plate instead of on Led Zeppelin albums. Anyone who tells you something is "oh my gawrsh Satanic" is probably going along the same lines. There are plenty of people out there who want desperately to convince you that anything that is not their specific religion is the worst thing ever, the opposite of good, and go around vilifying completely unrelated things in the course of it.

That was quite the bruhaha when that album came out, my mother was very concerned about it and we had quite a long conversation about the song and what it said and meant. I thought we were all clear and good about it. When Zeppelin came to town my freind Art stood in line all night to get tickets (no ticketmaster then). They were rather expensive compared to most bands; $4.50 rather than the more usual $3 or $3.50. At the last minute my parents decided they didn't want me to go because they were still uncomfortable with the band. I was really POd.

They had no problem with my going to see Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath or Deep Purple that year - go figure.

That's a funny story WC... weird because Led Zeppelin is rather tame compared to modern day metal bands. Ohh gawd I bet you were po'd.

I'm still mad I missed Black Sabbath last summer(but they were with lead singer Dio,not Ozzy)....they played very close by to me but I did'nt go like a dummie because I did'nt want to go alone.
Now that I think about it I should've went by myself.They rarely play SF....anyways I did get to see Nine Inch Nails last year but I don't consider them as good as Black Sabbath.

I like some of Jay-Z's songs but I've heard he's Satanic and that he's also a Freemason. I maybe wrong but I heard one of his songs backwards and it says something weird.

Anyways Jehovah is God's name in the Old Testament. I'm not that religious but I am Catholic leaning more towards Hinduism.

creepy! didn't know HOVA was sending out weird subliminal messages.... now I'm curious - do you have any idea what song(s) you were listening too that said says stuff when played backwards? I wanna check it out!
