Normal period or bleeding before pregnancy?

I was suppose to start my period on the 14th but it didn't come until the 17th(last night).
It's not as heavy as it usually is or the pain isn't very great usually is but there is some pain. But the bleeding type is somewhat normal for what I usally have at first. Thick old dark blood with a little bit of new blood. I have PMSed like usual, the bloating, the breaking out, small pains here and there, uterus feeling heavy.
But I'm just worried that I may be pregnant. My period for the past six months or so has always hit me like a ton of bricks.
Maybe my body is still trying to get in sync with itself since I got off birth control about six months ago. My periods then were always light and didn't last long. I was on birth control for about 7 years. I just don't know how to tell the difference between spotting that some women have before being prgenant and just a weird period.
Also, I took one of those early pregnancy test on the 13th and it came back negative. I took two on the 14th and both were negative and took one on the 17th and it was negative too.
I'm just confused and scared.

All the tests were negative. This morning I noticed the blood is brighter like with a normal period. So maybe I'm just having a light period? I took another pregnacy test and it came back negative.
Just scared me cause I haven't had a light period in several months.
