To make a suggestion: Since you only have 2 posts with this username, why don't you create a new one and delete the old one?

Whops. I just remember many years ago I had made a similar request to the admin of another forum and it went fine for me. I don't remember exactly if they just changed my nickname or if they deleted the username and let me create a new one. I just thought that since it's a known problem to the admins it shouldn't be any harm to help, as it's not like she wants to spam or have two accounts intentionally.

Some admins actually prefer you just make a new account and stop using the old one. Some will then ban that new account, others will just leave it sit and make sure it isn't used again. I've accidentally ended up with 2 accounts on a forum when I could not remember my sn or email I signed up with while I needed to post an emergency. When I did remember I got pmed by a mod that I had 2 accounts. I explained why, they asked which one to keep, the other got banned, and no harm done.

Now actually having 2 active accounts on a forum is always a bannable offense.
