I know this would sound like a silly question, but my best friend is so worried over this matter. It is about the way she believes.

Somebody have told her that only those who have preserved the virginity gets healthy children, and people who have lost their virginity before marriage will be getting retarded children.

I know this is not scientifically proven and completely baseless. But I don't know, she is worried over this..

    What do you think..

Omg. That is completely ridiculous. She's religious, am I right? I'm not saying that religion is bad but some of these beliefs are just ridiculous.

    You go set her straight!

    Yes, she is also spiritual.

And she regrets about that a lot.. Anyway, it is not her fault at all, she is very innocent, and gone through some bad times.

Well I was darned far from virgin when I had my children. They are both honors students and my oldest is attending a pretty pricey private college on an academic scholarship. There are a lot of factors including pre and post natal health, home environment, parental intelligence, education levels and involvement. Tell you freind to start reading and educating herself, she will be her children's first teacher the smarter she is, the more likely they will be intelliegent.

She is well educated and intelligent. She is currently an undergraduate and has the capacity to go further.

But you know, those are certain values drilled in to their minds, the way they believe.

She is now having the most wonderful fiancée/boyfriend one could ever have.

Yeah it's important for a person to get in the habit of questioning things. That's how we learn!

I'm referring to certain values that are drilled into people's minds through repetition and all that rather than through other methods of education. Just saying that when we question things, rather than accept them immediately, we can learn a lot through that process.
