Alright, well, to start from the beginning:

My boyfriend and I have had intercourse several times within the past month (I lost my virginity during this month) and we used the pull-out method. Anyway, my boyfriend and I had intercourse the day I was supposed to start my period. It hasn't shown up for eight days now, and we had intercourse four days ago (this time we used a condom). I don't think I'm pregnant because I haven't been feeling naucious, sore/tenderness in my breasts, or any other symptoms. I have had a cold for the past few days though, so I think that it might be a contributing factor.

What I'm really confused about is that I think I'm experiencing my period, but it's different. Instead of it being a really normal flow, it's not making that much of a mess, nor is it really a normal dark red color. It's more of a light brown/light pink color. Is this really my period, or is this something I should be worried about?

Today I tried Vitamin C, and drinking Parsley leaves (which didn't taste that great, but I had two heaping cups of it anyway). I'm also curious as to how much Vitamin C I should intake, and whether orange juice (like Sunny D) actually works for this method.

Please comment/give advice about what's going on. Thank you. ^_^

Sunny D is an orange drink, not orange juice. What is it that the vit C and parsley are supposed to do? Jump start your period?
Go to the grocery store produce section, get some fresh ginger root. Boil some water, steep the ginger root in it for 10 mins. Drink this as a tea. If your ready to bleed it will get you going.

The pull out method is a good way to get pregnant. You need to get some condoms and get into Planned Parenthood.

You shouldn't worry much about it. As its your first time your body is going to change. When I had my first time I didnt get my period for a whole month so its your body changing =)

As indicated by WildChild the pulling out is definite not a reliable method especially if you are not trying to get pregnant. The color change in your period does not mean that you are pregnant and also for some women pregnant symptoms does not appear over night. I would suggest that you take a pregnancy test to see what the results and take precautions from that point.

If your worried then go to the doctors. I have learnt from many a times stewing over what could be wrong with me etc that I just learnt that as embarrassed as I might feel about going to the doctors it's better then worrying. Also the other posters are so right, pulling out method is not a good form of birth control. Use a condom and if you can tolorate the pill I suggest trying that. I say if you can tolorate it because I could not take it make me too ill. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you!
