Explain your Avatar

I thought about how cool looking some of the avatars people have here . Was wondering if there's a story behind them,and what made you choose that particular avatar. Even people who don't have an avatar,was wondering why you don't have one?? lol.

Anyways my current avatar is actually a picture of me, but with some kind of effect that makes it look like a pop art type photo.I love modeling in my own art . I have several different versions of that picture, and the original is just regular photo colours. I'm wearing my bright pink halloween wig and my favorite lingerie in that.....I chose my current one to see if anyone would recognize that's me lol.

My last avatar was of course Mrs Brisby from Secret of Nimh....I might go back to that one when I get bored with my new one.

Anyways I see alot of cool looking avatars here and was wondering if there is a story behind them or none at all.

Please explain the avatar you chose...Why did you choose it?

LOL Mine's total default, not of the ones offered really appeal and I'm not much of a computer person. One of these days I'll find something I like and figure out how to put it on here.

Mine is an ancient eastern painting titled "East." It's a Siamese cat, not sure what special meaning that has to Eastern Asians, but I have a lil Siamese furbaby named Marcel and so thats the significance to me

Mine's pretty self explanatory. Just me and my love Sometimes when we're just playing around I like to take random things on my phone without either of us being ready, just seeing how it comes out. And I liked the turnout of this one.

Mine is from rockclimbing. I find it very empowering and challenging. I think it represents my take on life.

Well... Mine is of me, obviously. I thought that this was one of my better photos even though I look extremely white, lol. It's kind of my "Go to" picture for Myspace, Facebook and here. Though currently, Myspace is of me in my Patriots hat. That's right!

Now my avatar is a painting of the Little Mermaid I did for my colour theory class when I went to the Art Institute a few years ago....I got an A in it .....anyways I think I'll leave it to that one now
