help weird things happen after delivery

hello all, i need help.... I am a new mom and i dont know how normal this is but after i had my daughter 5 months ago where my stitches were is a small opening "down there". its not really big, just big enough to get the tip of my pointer finger in. 3 weeks after having the baby i went to my doctor to ask her about it and she said that i would heal as the stitches dissolved... IT HASN'T. Is there anyone that has had this happen to them after birth??? Does anyone know if it will heal eventually? Its weird and i am very embarrassed about it. I don't think my fiance has noticed it yet because he hasn't said anything, but it would be so weird if he asks about it. i'm hoping it heals soon.

Get back into your doctor or see another doctor. I can't imagine that this shouldn't have healed by now.

Definitely have it looked at! You do not want something like that to go for to long if you are concerned about it. If you are not satisfied with what your previous doc said do not hessitate to see someone else.
