    Arrow Gun growing over them!

Is it necessary to spend a lot of money getting wisdom teeth out because of infection or gum growing over them? Can' t they be left to rot without affecting the body?

No you could end up with an abcess or life threatening situation. It could also cause really foul breath and other problems.

No!!! If they are rotting you can get very sick not to mention there will be a lot of PAIN!!! I put off having my wisdom teeth done for a long time. One had initially broken as it was coming in and I just had it filed down (all I could afford) a few years later it became abscessed and it felt like someone was driving nails thru my jaw!!! Had 1 out on an emergency, that sucked! Then a few years later the others went bad. Do not put it off if you can help it!

I should add that left untreated, any tooth decay can end up creating a lovely hideous abcess in your facial bones that can eat away at your facial structure.

WARNING; THE EXAMPLE THAT FOLLOWS IS RATHER GROSS BUT PROVES MY POINT....PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND AN EMPTY STOMACH...

How do I know? My ex, who thought he knew everything, did not seek treatment for his bad teeth until he developed a large ball of pus in the roof of his mouth. Upon xray, it turns out that his teeth rot had abcessed and eaten away almost to the eye socket on one side. All his teeth had to be pulled and dentures made.
And this was in his mid 40's...

Yeah. Try being even remotely interest in kissing THAT.
