    Hi everyone!
I have a question, I have had a yeast infection for about two months now. I've been to the doctor and I've gotten a few medications, but nothing has worked so far and its very frustarating. I was wondering if my acne medication could be the cause of it not working. I'm using Differin cream (it has antibiotics in it, but its NOT a oral medication, it's just a cream I rub on my face). Even though its not an oral antibiotic can it still have influence/ cauze a yeast infection?

In general terms, some people are allergic to antibiotics, whether taken orally or not, it will cause Thrush if you are allergic to them.

A yeast infection should clear up within a week, or if taking a tablet and using cream, usually a day or two. Two months is too long.

Stop using the cream and wash your face frequently, patting dry and keeping your skin clean and dry for a few days and see if the infection starts to get weaker...

I don't know about ance medication effecting it, but you should probably take warm baths for a few nights, that's what my doctor told me to do.
