period 3 times in less than a month!! =((

im only 20 years old and i had a baby back in feb..i got an IUD but the non hormonal one and i havent had any problems..i have had my period 3 times sense oct 10th and i dont know whats wrong! aside from going to the dr does anyone have any advice? pleasee

If you have the copper IUD, I've read that it can cause increased bleeding. If you in fact have a copper IUD and have severe bleeding, you should call your doctor. A certain percentage of women have to have it removed because of the bleeding. Again, I'd recommend calling your doctor.
