Lost Iud

Recently I became pregnant, good news, unless you had a iud inserted a year ago. Only to find out that the doctor who inserted it. punctured my uterus and placed it behind it. So i lost the baby and now have to go to surgery in 2 weeks, i might be out of work for 3 days ,but it could be 4weeks if the iud is attached to the uterus muscle. Is there anyone out there who has gone through this?

I have an IUD and no, I have not experienced what you have been through but I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry that you lost the baby and I hope all went well with your surgery.

hi vanessa, i can't believe what you wrote, that is the most bizarre thing i have ever heard and i've been in this business a long time. i just can't see you not becoming infected or it causing profuse bleeding when it penetrated. wow, i am going to ask my husband when he gets home if he has ever seen this in his practice. i'm so sorry about everything you have endured you did issue a complaint to the medical board in your state didn't you?
