It seems I've had this problem for awhile I had called some plastic surgeons to see if i can get it removed most of them will not even think of giving me a consult? I have these lumps under my arm pits and they say its my lymphnoids that get swollen. These have been some what of a bother for me as i can't wear a bathing suit anymore and can't seem toundress infront of my husband .

I feel very alone and bothered by this unsitely fat under my armpits, can anyone help me with recommending me to specialist or if anyone has this problem can we talk....

thank you feeling rather depressed ,

You need to contact a Vascular Surgeon. Some specialize in the lymphatic system so when you call one to get an appointment be sure to let them know what your problem is. When your looking for one they might be listed under thorasic vascular, but again just be sure to ask if this area is their speciality. Good luck and let us know how things are.

you need to go to the doctor for that, it could be cancerous, i had one under my armpit when i was younger and the doctors were kinda worried about it, so i had to get a biopsy of it. thank god it was nothing and went away. so go get it checked ouy.

yea...you definitaly need those lymph nodes. Some people have issues with them swelling too often but the reason they swell is because your body is trying to fight off disease! I have been tested for thyroid disease but came up negatave so they just keep an eye on them....

I would suggest seeing a doctor instead of a surgeon... and going from there

    Default see a dr

You should see a dr and maybe that doc oughta be an oncologist (cancer dr) not just any old dr. not saying its cancer, but an oncologist would be the best place to begin. prolly need a referal from your family dr. the lymp system is not something that you want to mess with, thats probably why the plastic surgeon wont touch it. theres something called lymphadema that people get from having lymphnoids removed and it can get UGLY! your entire arm can swell and all the area around it also. While it is true that glands swell when there is an infection or disease, it is not always the case and when they do swell it is sometimes a good thing because it keeps the infection localized and the immune system can fight it off. But please see a dr and take care of it..

Default i know how you feel

I know how you feel there. Am a thin girl with lumps under my armpits. I call them armpit boobies LOL. I feel so self concious about them all the time. i could never wear tanks or dresses cause they stick out and look disgusting. I had contacted a plastic surgeon now am just waiting for my surgery, can't wait to wear those tanks . i would rather scars under there insteads on lumps. Well anyways i hope all goes good for you.
