Default You know what I say....

Be your on woman; who cares what's in and what's out, as soon as it's hot it's not so wear what you want to. I do. Sure I might try following fashion trends with a few things accessories and bags but as far as clothes I wear what I'm comfortable in and what looks nice on me. This show what not to wear oh my god i used to like watching that show but its ridiculous. I mean who are they to tell me what i can and can't wear. Sorry just venting a bit. Seriously if I wore a mini skirt, four inch heels, bangel braclets, and a tunic my husband would die as would my mom. Its not me. So why spend all that money on something that's not really you, that your not really into and will be out as quick as it came in. Create your own fashion, fashion comes from within not the wrack....

    Default another rant

ok, what's the deal.... with sizes. I wish to god they would do away with tag size. I mean really. I just tried on a pair of Jeans at Cato's. Normally I wear about a 4-6 in most brands. I tried on their size six jeans and i would've had to gone up to a size 8 for them to fit. No way was I going to do that. I really like st John's Bay brand at Jcpenny's. Their pretty true to size and their comfortable. Seriously, why do they all fit so differently. Some brands I can still pull off a size 4 others I have to get a 6. I just don't get it though. I think that's why most women hate to try on clothes all the time. I think for now on when I find a brand that works I'm just going to stick with it. I haven't bought jeans from old navy or the gap in a long time cause their's so many styles and of course every one fits just a little differently. You'd be in the dressing room all day. Why so many choices. It can be so confussing and frustrating when buying pants of any kind. That's why i like tops. Most of the time its s, m, and l that's it that simple. Why can't it be that way with skirts, jeans, slacks, even shoes can be a pain some times. oh well, leave it to the fashion world to make getting dressed more difficult than it has to be.

Well actually i think all ladies would agree.. But in all reality, a lot of those women that go on those shows don't care what they look like. I think that every one should take a sense of pride in what they look like. It doesn't have to be all out, extravagant and expensive. In all reality mall shopping isn't possible for most of us on a regular basis if at all. Wal-Mart and Target have amazing styles for low prices and they really try hard to fit everyones size. I'm a reluctant size 18/20 and trust me more then anything it's hard as **** for me to find fashionable clothes that don't cost too much. For the edgier girls Torrid.com is awesome but runs a bit high on price, but i've found ebay to be amazing at having a lot of good fashionable clothes for a reasonable price sometimes you can get a steal. And if by some chance you don't like them you can just resell it. I feel the pain of every person who has a hard time shopping because of there body shape or size. I'm 5"3, about 225lbs, 38B chest. I can't fit plus size because of the rise of the pants and the size of the chest in the shirts. Apparently all heavy people have huge hooters, are tall and equally balanced. I wish you best of luck, love yourself and it wont matter how hip you look.

Default Good for you for venting....

"IMPORTS", well that's what i find, clothes are being made in China for so many fashion houses now.

So when we could purchase (S) (M) (L) easy, it's now the small is tiny the medium is large and the large is larger..

I get so confused... I have clothes that are small and medium, i have to try most on now or really put them up against me.

And the boob thing, your right, gee, the clothes are all made for small chests, what's with that?

I'm not large, but i'm not small...

I rarely do the Target thing because i would "sorry" hate to walk in somewhere and someone or more, are wearing the same top...

I love Easybuy on line, wow some of the stuff is exotic, just me, different and that's how i chose to dress, classy, but different.....

Absolutely agree, find your own style, and dress for you.

The other thing i think so many women miss is colour.

Do you all go for black? Sure, the little black dress. Or you know red is good so you buy red.. But, have you taken the time to look real close at colours you would never have worn?

IE) I have several electric blue tops, jacket, with smokey eyes and brunette long hair, it just oozes "difference" and brings my eyes out so they look large and sensual..

    Grey same with white.

Lemon stunning with brunette and grey eyes.

I would have never worn either before, i checked them against me, against my eyes, hair, then chose the designs i liked for me.

    Just a thought.

I think a healthy image starts with feeling good about yourself inside and out. Each person is beautiful in her own way! If you feel good about yourself on the inside that will shine on the out. I think when women take care of their appearance and dress their best (whether they shop at Wal-Mart or Macy's or Kohl's) they will feel good about themselves in a small way. Have fun with your shopping and find things that match your personality and shape! Try a new hair do--it'll grow back! Don't be afraid of color. Take a friend shopping that will be honest with you. But most importantly, love yourself first!

    Thumbs down

OMG seriously what isup with sizes now i was an 8 and now i can't find an 11 that fits. It is almost like society is trying to make woman feel like they need to lose more and more weight. Women work hard to get into their ideal size only for the sizes to change

wow. im so glad im not the only one that thinks the size b.s. is ..lol. b.s.! designers NEED to know that not all women are a certain size. and fall in certain categories. it kinda makes me not want to go shopping at some retail stores. i worked retail and i heard that they (designers) take a model and mold the "average" size to that type. screw that. i shop at goodwill.

I HATE that show. lol. I think the woman is a biotch. Who is she to tell me I have to THROW away my clothes? Whatever. lol. I rarely shop for clothes. When I do, I usually get my shirts at Aeropostale bt they are always on sale. As far as jeans, I usually pick either Sears or a consignment shop nearby. They sell awesome clothes for usually reasonable prices.

My problem is I am a 34D. I can NEVER find a bra that I like that isnt a stupid push up in my size. I LOVE vasarette at WalMart but they NEVER have my size and I just cant buy one online because I have to feel how thick the bra is to see if I will even like it. I dont like the ones that have super thick padding only towards the bottom of the cup. I think that is stupid for D cups. Why would we want even BIGGER looking boobs? But then again, I also dont want a super thin bra...oh, we women have it so hard...it sucks...
