Now I know I cant work out like I once use to before I was pregnant but I am 13 weeks pregnant and I am really wanting to stay in shape during this pregnancy. Not only have I read it will help me bounce back when I give birth to my regular size but its good for the birth. What kinda stuff is safe to do when you are pregnant and does anyone have any recommendations!

    hey there

Before you do any workout consult your doctor first just to ensure the health of you and the baby. There are lots of workout to choose from. Theres classes just for pregnant women only, you could check around where you live or there are lots of workout videos. Try amazon.com OR babycenter.com. I will advise you to spend some time on babycenter, they have so much information on there for mommys to be. Also just walking about 30mins per day will help too!

Yoga is always mentioned as very helpful, as it can also include meditation etc and apparently helps with labour.

I have also heard that water aerobics (they have special classes for pregnant women in some places) is very good for you because you get a great workout, but it is low impact on the baby.

But of course the best thing is to check with your doctor..
