I think women were programmed differently in that area...all men seem to have that constant sex drive and we all seem to struggle with it. I've never had a real strong sex drive but I'm married to a wonderful man that I love very much so I pretend to have a sex drive occassionally for his benefit. Now that I'm 44 and premenopausal I really have no sex drive at all! Don't feel alone! I actually went to a store that sells natural remedies and bought something called Estrotone. It's all natural and helps with most of the symptoms of premenopause with the sex drive being one of them. Well see...I'll follow up in a week or so after I've been taking it. I don't like to take meds so I went the natural route! Wish me luck and let me know if you find anything that helps!

For you 22 are you on any kind of hormones for female problems like endometriosis?

    Default My two cents

Don't worry so much about your drive. It will come back. Just make sure that you keep a healthy diet. Exercize really helps too.

I was searching about the same issue that I've recently had the displeasure of experiencing. I found a new home at www.NoSexSupport.com. It's a site just for people in our situations. Seems these guys are stuck in a hard place too.

Default Newly Married & Not Interested

In searching for info on lack of sex drive during menopause, I came across this site and had to join. I have been fully menopausal since the age of 30 (now 40) ... my sex drive has gone from the OMG to OhNO stages regularly ... about every six months or so I either can't get enough or I just can't stand being touched .... right now I'm at the 0hN0 stage ..... under normal circumstances this really wouldnt bother me ... but theres nothing normal about my life right now .... I just got married 3 weeks ago to a wonderful man (10 years younger) ... we consumated marriage (of course) but since then .... its been a dry run ... this is a BIG problem for me right now ... he really thinks that he's done something or not doing something right or wrong ... he's worried and confused ... any ideas to help me help him to understand this???

This is often a concern for women in later years.

Default no sex drive ...dry vagina?

could it be that your sexual drive is a result of vaginal dryness? you can try using over the counter vaginal moisturizers like Replens. since sex comes in scarce lately you wouldn't want to finally get in the mood only to get turned off again because of friction...

Anyone try a small dose of Viagra? (as long as you're not on heart medication) That along with something to combat the vaginal dryness may help. I know women aren't supposed to take it, but I know lots of women do.
