okay so this is the second time this has happened completely out of the blue....the first time my doctor didnt know what it was but he prescribed zyrtec (i think) and it seemed to help after a few days....okay so here's the problem....i feel an itch but nothings there (there being a random spot; elbow, knee, shin, pinky finger, bottom of my FOOT!) i scratchsaid itch hoping it will go away and the spot turns red and a white bump appears....the itch is persistant and the more i scratch in an area the more bumps apear...bumps ranging from the size of a flea bite bump to the size or a really big mosquitto bite bump...after awhile the bump disappears.....is this an alergy a skin condition....some crazy disease who's sole purpose is to drive me up a wall? plz any advice is welcome
I would really like to know what it is. I have that same problem except mine is on the top of my hands and on the palms. and sometimes on my legs. but like you said its on one spot you scratch it then bumps appear. dont know what it is. i sorta thought it was prickly heat. cause mine only happens during the summer. i dont know about you but it drives me nuts. i have found somthing that takes the itch away so im happy. but i still would like to know what it is..
Better check your blood and start to diet and sport in constant time not hard just easy and enjoy.
do not late to get meal
if you feel cold and itchy just drink hot milk.
I have the same thing. Don't have any idea what the trigger is for me, but apparently, allergies of any kind can kick them off (internal or contact allergies). Mine didn't respond to allergy medication at all, so I have to take steroids for 10 days. This is my 3rd full day on them and today is the first day that I haven't had any big breakouts. It starts the same for me - just an itchy spot that breaks out into hundreds of hives as I scratch, with really intense itching. They last for 20-30 minutes and then pop up somewhere else. It's NOT fun!! I'll probably just stay on allergy meds during all allergy seasons from now on to try and prevent them once I'm finished with steroids. If they are a regular occurence for you, you might want to see an allergist to see if they can identify what triggers them. Good luck to you!
I thought I was the only one with the "mystery itch" as I like to call it... I have narrowed mine down to a contact allergy and have been using Aveeno lotion with Menthal. This soothes the itch which reduces the hives.. My doctor put me on a relatively new allergy drug, Xyzal and that seems to help but I still have break outs. Does anyone have a diet to follow to narrow down the causes?? Good luck to all of you and hope this is some relief as I know your itch.
almost sounds like hives. my mom will get them on the bottom of her feet even. they drive her nuts and they seem to come out of nowhere. she will get them from stress. her hives sometimes will be raised and sometimes not and usually red and terribly itchy!! also aveeno make a good oatmeal bath that might aleviate your symptoms.
Bumps and itching are hives. Sometimes an oatmeal cream/lotion will help calm it down and I know it itches bad (I get it too) but try not to scratch it or it will only make it worse
