Hi, i'm getting married this summer and i wanted to start the pill. i have seen a doctor and she told me that i just have to go to the pharmacy and ask for pills. is this true? when should i start em? how do i know what ones'll work? any1 got any answers?
Your doctor needs to prescribe the pill for you and there are so many out there but me being a registered nurse(soon to graduate) I would recommend the nuva ring it gets high reviews and I use it. I'm newly wed but I have a child and the ring is the onlt thing that worked for me by creating short periods
hey, thanks for answering. i really appreciate it. i hadnt thought about the ring, thanks for mentioning it. one more question, if anyone wants to answer. if i do start the pill, would i start the first day of my period? i heard that that's the fatsest way to be protected. thanks for your help!!
yes you would start the pill on day one of your cycle or some women choose to start on sunday after the period begins. ie. if it starts on friday you can wait til sunday to begin the pill or start on the first day
