Thank you for your post, I decided after last night it is best to take the medicine. I was very, very ill and the infection spread to my kidneys.
I have a 5 day dose and pray that it fixes my problem and keeps my baby healthy. This infection can cause many problems for the both of us. I trust my doctor to do what's right for us. Thank you for your prayers, and please keep them coming. I can't handle another night like last night.

Ugh kidney pain is not going to be fun. Because the infection has spread it is imperative that you take the entire prescription for the full 5 days, it is absolutely crucial even if it did not spread. Even if you feel fine after one day you must finish the prescription. The reason is incredibly resistant bacteria are everywhere and the misuse of antibiotics by too many people, as long as you take the whole prescription you are helping in not allowing resistant bacteria to populate. Hope you feel better soon

I definitely thumbs up your choice. It sounds like your doctor really put in the thought necessary to treat your problem, not just threw Cipro at you because bladder infection = Cipro Rx.
I hope you get to feeling better today!

    Thank you ladies : )
Yes kidney pain was horrible. I've never felt pain that intense. And then I started vomiting, oh it was a rough night. Today I feel better, I'm taking it easy and staying on the couch. My poor hubby got home at 12 last night and stayed up all night rubbing my back and worrying about me. I will definitely finish my Meds I am thankful that I have them the infection spread super fast, I can't imagine were I would be if I waited another day. I'm guessing I would be in the hospital right now.

    Best wishes.
