the rule for smoothies is "there is no rule"
I always dump any kind of fruits I have in the blinder, never made a smoothie that I did not like.

    go for it

Another thing that you can do with smoothies is to add whey protien, it comes in differnt flavors and fills you up so if your in a hurry in the morning you can make your smoothie and go, a quick easy and healthy breakfeast

I've been making them for years but a little differently. I get teh frozen strawberries from Costco (great big bag) or other berries.
Start with a banana or two in the blender with some water, then add your berries.

The banana adds some creaminess and body to it wit no dairy and the frozen fruit means no ice! You can add a splash of vanilla too.

    I make smoothies pretty often.

My favorite consists of one banana, a few strawberries, some peaches and some mango pieces. Add some ice cubes, a little milk and then blend that and when it's all blended add some vanilla yogurt and then blend again! It is yummy!

Excellent, thank you, I will try it, usually don't have the time and nerves for it, but the commercial smoothies are often expensive!
