I've Been on YAZ for 2 weeks now...
Hi everyone,
Well, my husband is begging me to stop taking YAZ immediately. He says it is making me mean and that I overreact to everything. He says I hate being hugged and kissed now. I will say that everything irritates me and I have almost no patience. I am experiencing some very ****ty physical changes. I am assuming that they are caused by YAZ since the changes began when I started taking it two weeks ago:
I am constantly nauseous.
I have had a sore throat for two weeks.
I have to take a three hour nap each day, and I sleep from 9:00 to 7:00 each night, and I'm still tired.
I wake up 3-4 times a night, which I NEVER used to do before two weeks ago.
I have deep painful acne on my chin, back and chest that I didn't have before.
Of course, by breasts are sore and have grown a whole cup size larger in two weeks.
Also, I get really hungry again just a couple of hours after I eat.
Does anyone else have symptoms like these and are on YAZ? Do these symptoms go away after a while? I really had high hopes for YAZ and I am sooooo dissapointed that it is turning out this way. I don't know what to do. Any input you might have would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

I have the same symptoms and I am concerned I could be pregnant, but i have been told this is normal.
Not to make you feel bad, but a girl I know has been on Yaz for 4 months and she just found out she was 6 weeks pregnant. On top of that she had been on bc for 6 years straight!

I told everyone I would update on how I felt about Yaz, but I never did ...
It made me SO irritable, so unhappy, snappy against my boyfriend, the WORKS.
And it made sex impossible because I was impossible to arouse.
So I didn't take it anymore after one month. I don't think that was a long enough time to try it out, but I couldn't live like that anymore and I went right back to normal after stopping.
