Default Body For Life vs. The Abs Diet

I'm thinking of starting one of these programs, but I'm not sure which is better. Both will probably get me into shape and are probably similar. Can anyone give me their thoughts if you have tried either of these out?

    Thank you-

I have been hearing more and more on the ads diet lately. It's been a best seller and now they have come out with one for women. If I buy the book, I will probably stick with the men's version just because it's cheaper. I also have read that it's almost identical to the women's version.

Body For Life has been around a while. Their website has a ton of info and many success stories. They both sounded similar to me, so I'm not sure which to choose. Right now I'm leaning toward the body for life program.

I looked up both of these books on amazon.com. They both have really good reviews.

    Default 6 Meals a day

    Another thing...

Both of these diets have you eating 6 or so small meals a day. This is to teach your body not to store fat and go into starvation mode. Instead it will keep it burning steady throughout the entire day. They also seem to veer away from any processed foods; however, the body for life program does give you one free day a week to eat whatever you want, as long as you return to the program the very next day.

I've heard someone say if it doesn't fly, swim, or grow they don't eat it. It's a good idea but very hard to follow. Especially for me--the ice cream lover that I am.
