I started taking Yaz last month, but I missed some pills and stop taking them. I was only taking them for about a week and a half. Now my period is a week late, but I took a home pregnancy test (twice) and they both came out negative. I don't know what's wrong with my body. Any advice????

You messed with your hormones. Now your body is trying to figure out what it's supposed to do. It may take some time before things get back to normal. If you are worried about pregnancy, use some form of protection. You will have no idea when you are fertile.

I just stopped taking Yaz a few days ago because I hated how it was affecting me. I only had 4-5 pills left, though, and that pack was the only one I had taken.
My period hasn't come yet, which is a little alarming since I started taking the pills about 2 weeks into my cycle, but I'm sure neither one of us has any problems, pregnancy or otherwise. It's just like free spirit said; our bodies are getting back into their rhythm.
    Good luck!

I just finished my pack of active pills on yaz and I am now on my second day of nonactive pills. I still have not started my period, but I have been having small cramps, similar to a period and I feel like I should be starting anytime. But still nothing. But, I did just come off of quasense which really messed with my hormones so I think my body is just still kinda messed up. I am going to wait til I start my period before I start the next pack of yaz. Hopefully it comes soon.
