What is a good and healthy "pick-me-up" afternoon snack? I've been eating lean cuisines for lunch but around 2 or 3 in the afternoon I need just a little something to hold me over until dinner...any suggestions? THANKS~

How about a sandwich on whole-grain wheat, with lean lunch meat (I like turkey breast), lettuce, tomato and cheese (the reduced-fat kind).
I've got cold-water and apple slices, along with my favorite: citrus salad!

I like strawberries, cherries, apples, pears, peaches, plumbs, nectarines, tangarines, oranges, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mango, watermelon... now I hate cantelope, honeydew--I have a reaction to them; even the smell! I have a hard time with watermelon as well, but I do like it!

Grapefruit is really good for you. If you peel all that white stuff off the grapefruit, it's really very sweet.
I have been meaning to try blueberries, though... passed some up several times and now I wish I grabbed them up!

a great pick me up would be a handfull of nuts... almonds or walnuts are the best pick... contains the good fat and a high source of protien..... protien helps with hunger attacks... keeps you full....![]()
