Hmm... I cannot remember, but I know I have heard that certain vitamin deficiencies will contribute to that. But I don't think it was vitamin C. Not sure. I do know that you can make them less visible by either tanning or using sunless tanning lotions. The darker your overall skin color, the less the bruises will show. Sorry I can't think of more right now.

Hey LOVED1. I just read your post. There are many deficiencies that can cause bruising. There are also many autoimmune disorders as well. I can speak from experience because I have what is called Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura. Yeah... It took me a long tme to pronounce it! However, you need to get a CBC done, which is a complete blood count. Pay close attention to your platelet count. The numbers should range bt 120,000-300,000 or more. The problem with this disorder is you walk around not even knowing you have it. What happens is you spleen fights off your platelets bc it mistakins them for a foreign subtance/object. So your body's own immune system is fighting itself off. The bruising comes from the body not being able to clot. Your platelets are what go to an area of trauma on your body and restores it.
