Oohhh i loved pan's labyrinth!! It was so moving, and it was an excellent mixture of fantasy with realism.

    "from dusk til dawn"

ok, i'll just say that i love anything with Reese Witherspoon, Saelma Hyeck (sp?) Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Antonio Banderas, any Quentin Tarantino movie and Kevin Smith movie, any movie with Will Farrel

    i guess that's a lot but i love movies!

favorite book of all time, "The Stand" and the entire Gunslinger series (Stephen King)
    It's obvious you're a fan of Tarrantino & Depp.

"Legends of the Fall" was excellent. Did you also like "Meet Joe Black"? I didn't think I'd like that, but it was really good.
Oh, and since you like Antonia Banderas movies, did you see "Take the Lead"?
I've got that on DVD--it's excellent!

these are only a few of my favorites but so are many of the ones everyone has already mentioned.

I was kind of embarrassed to post that "Saturday Night Fever" is the one that does it for me. There are so many other movies that are many times better, but "Saturday Night Fever" takes me back to my teen years and I went to school in the area where it was filmed. The music, the dancing, the characters, the clothes (especially John in that white suit...LOL!!!) Anyway, just brings back a lot of funny memories.

recently i watched One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest again, and that movie always gets me. Plus, it is great to see all of those great actors (Nicholson, Devito, Christopher Lloyd)...before they got really famous. The book (by ken kesey) is also very good. It is written through the perspective of the native american, who has a great perspective on things.

Well, I couldn't pick just one book, but I narrowed it down to three:
A Fine & Private Place by Peter S. Beagle
The Light of Other Days by Arthur C. Clarke and Stephen Baxter
    Doomsday Book by Connie Willis

Just some of my favorite movies, for various reasons:
    A Beautiful Mind
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
    Field of Dreams
    L.A. Story
    About a Boy
    The Hunt for Red October
    Blazing Saddles
    Batman Begins
    Roxanne
    Star Wars
    Die Hard
Buckaroo Banzai ( I can't explain it, but I watch it every time it's on. It's so weird.)

    Hey Lilly!

I just wanted to let you know that I saw the last installment of "Heroes" this past Monday, and I must say you will find it quite interesting.
It answers a lot of questions, and yet, it makes you ask MORE questions!

The season will pick back up in January.... all I can say is, WOW!!!
