I just started exercising for the first time in a long time. I'm not currently taking any multivitamins at all. I was wondering what kind of multivitamin is good for me at my age.

I take centrum one a days, and I have heard they are just fine for a multivitamin.

I do suppplement more C though considering I do not think they have enough.

I take a CVS brand Pre-Natal vitamin. I was taking a name brand, but it was $50 a bottle, and not covered by insurance. The ingredients are bio-identical. I take it because of the folic acid, and I really noticed a difference when I started taking it during my pregnancy. I've had a naturopath tell me that most OTC vitamins barely even dissolve in your system and do nothing for you. I don't know how true it is. My parents have used Puritan's Pride for many years.

Yea, I always see that store brand vitamins say "compared to Centrum" or "One A Day"...is it basically all the same? It is cheaper, and saving some cash would be nice! I don't want to get any less from my vitamins than I'm getting now tho.

I take a liquid vitamin and mineral supplement and it has really helped me with my energy because I used to be tired all the time.

my personal preference is swisse multi vit for women, they have minerals and iron as well in it, so a good allround vitamin.

I take the vitapacks from GNC not only do they give you a multivitamin but they also have bone health and fish oil along with a few others. You can also choose what type you want to take. they have the ones that are for any women and then there are some for women over 50, menapause, and oseoperosis, there good and they give you more than just a multi vitamin.
