Well I used to have split ends as well as oily hair and since I've been using Suave Daily Clariyifing shampoo, everything has been wonderful. I also combine it with the conditioner as well but I condition every other day so that my hair is nice and soft. I haven't cut my hair in over seven months. I hope this helps if not then try something else. I went through about five different brands of shampoo and conditioner before I found the one that I use now. I went through VO5, Herbal Essences, Nexxus, Fructis Garnier, and Aussie. But I've settled on Suave Daily Clarifying.

    I hope this helps!

You can't buy a product to get rid of split ends. The only way to get rid of them is to cut your hair. You can only buy products to make the split ends lie down. I like Lee Stafford Dehumidifier.

I agree, the only way is to trim your hair where you have the spilt ends. I use to have split ends also and i had no choice but to cut my hair.

I used to have short hair and absolutely hated it, so when I grew it out absolutely nothing could make me cut it. Unfortunately, this meant that i got a lot of split ends as well.

The two posters before me were absolutely right, you cant use any product to fix split ends. However, there are products that help prevent them after you cut the old ones off.
Redken AntiSnap is probably my favorite hair product ever. Also, if you straighten your hair, or use any heat treatment (even blow drying), you are increasing your chances for split ends. Always use a heat protector. Dont brush your hair while it is wet. This is when your hair is the most vulnerable to breakage. Use a wide toothed comb and work out tangles gently, dont pull them.

    Hope this helps!

I really like using Kerastase heat protection before I blowdry my hair. It really does help cut down on frizzy dry ends and keeps your hair from being completely fried. But I agree..cutting your hair is really the most effective, and its important to cut it atleast 4-5times a year because the hair will just start to break further up the shaft. Hope that helps!

I think your hair needs a cut. Either find someone who can cut your hair at home or go to a salon and get it cut. No matter what the commercials say, the only cure for bad split ends is to trim them off. Your hair will look and feel a million times better.

i agree.Im a hair stylist and you HAVE to cuts your ends off or the hair will continue to split upwards.you can give them a better appearance with conditioning and a flat iron(make sure to use thermal products).but cutting is so worth it in the long term.i just cut three inches of my hair cuz my ends were so bad and i just put it in a french twist everyday ..but i had to suck it up and cut it off...and as i already knew,it looks sooo much healthier!

    cheers: "Cut it! Cut it!"
No but really, you have to there's no way around it. If you're scared of short hair then trim half an inch of an inch but you gotta loosen up on the irons, and blow-dryer really bad for the hair. Also there's this product called Super Skinny, its a Serum you put it on after you shower it helps for shine and split ends. Best of luck!
