I was told about the movie "The Notebook" by my good friend. She told me you have got to see it, which we did and I just loved it. Being near the age of the couple in question, now mind you I said near and not close, and so in love she knew this would have an impact on us. And it did. Ours is a hot heated affair that has not and will never stop. He is the same lover I met years ago who asked me out and had dates with three girls that same night. Home on leave, my sailor picked me......That was the luckiest day of my life....

When I purchased the movie I also purchased the book. I am filling a library and this seemed like a great addition to help fill the shelves. I sat up last night and read it. I am an avid reader and love learning more of life and my thirst for knowledge never stops.

All I will say to all who have seen the movie is don't read the book.....It will spoil the movie......TC, C

Aww, I read the book first and liked it a lot better. It didn't focus so much on their time together as young people; more on Noah's feelings and their reunion. It was just different and has to do with things that couldn't be visualized.
I always say to watch the movie before reading the book ... or else you'll hate the movie. I guess this is backwards.

It was the age difference that got to me.....They were so young.......Yet I must remember that Romeo and Juliet were young but truly nothing touched me as much as the movie..........Or maybe it is nothing has scared me as much as the movie............Or maybe nothing has awakened me as much to the ineviitable as the movie........Or maybe knowing that I am a better person today then I was yesterday because of seeing the movie.........All in this wonderful game called life....TC, C
