hairloss
Do you have any other symptoms ? Weight loss, weight gain ? Anxiety ? I started losing my hair when I was in my late twenties along with other symptoms. Come to find out I had an over active thyroid.I was surprised to find out that my birth control pills was causing this because they was putting too much estrogen into my system. Check with your doctor on this especially if you are on birth control.
I was told to take a multivitimin and to use Rogain, plus I took extra vitimin E.
Good luck !

My mother in law bought some herbal pills at the health food store to thicken hair and they worked. She checked with her doctor and he said they were fine for her but I would check with my doctor if I were you. I don't know what they were called (I'll ask her and get back to you) but she walked in and asked the woman behind the counter about pills to make her hair grow. You should try that. Also prenatal vitamins work for hair and nails and you don't have to be pregnant to take them.

It is normal to lose up to 200 hairs a day (it replenishes itself). If you don’t wash your hair for 3 days and then take a shower or brush it, it will appear as if you have just lost 600 hairs (that can be frightening).
Hormonal changes due to menopause, puberty, period, sudden changes in your diet, weight lose, starting or stopping medications and/or birth control pills will all contribute to changes in the texture, structure and density of hair. (If any of the above mentioned conditions is the reason, you will probably notice changes in your nails also; but not necessarily. Once your system is stabilized with those changes you will be fine once again.
If you like to try a product that might help, try "CHI 44 IONIC POWER"
PS: worrying will cause hair loss also.
Be happy
