Sure thing, I just started Phase 3 so I'll be with it for at least another month. Though I plan to go for another round in August (after a month of doing something else).

    Default 50 and doing P90X

I am a 50 year old woman, in fairly good shape, and started P90X 2 weeks ago. So far I have lost 6 lbs. and noticed a slight change in my overall physique. My reason for purchasing this program is because I travel extensively for my job, living in hotels, and this program is a great "at home" tool. I will say though...IT IS TOUGH! Start out slow and do what you can. I am already stronger than when I started. This will be like nothing you've ever done. It gives you everything you need --- cardio, strength, core, stretch, etc. I imagine if you strictly follow the eating plan, you'll become ripped very fast. My problem is that I love carbs (which we all know we need to cut down on in order to get cut). My advice is to buy the program and see what you think. I think you'll be happy. Good luck.

I just completed my second day and I felt the nausea as well. He did mention not to eat at least an hour before plyometrics specifically. Whenever I felt the nausea i would press pause and jog in place (lightly) in front of the fan which seemed to help

I just finished my first week of P90X! My body has never felt to strong in my life. I downloaded i90 Workbook from the App store on my iphone. I used to program to record my p90X workout stats and record my photos. I cant wait to see the difference in my body from my first week to my last week. I should finish just in time for the beach. Bring it!

honestly I did p90x for a while but I didn't like the way it was starting to make my upper body look, I was getting way too much size. I build muscle fast so I bulked up! But at the same time I did get a nicer tummy, especially since I was doing it regular. Than I gave my copy to my brother and since he is another city I have no P90x . My friend recommended another site to me called Trainerpack, apparently she uses it for workouts. I think I might give it a shot, either that or Jillian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am starting the P90X on Monday!! I have witnessed a few friends going through the process and I was so impressed, my fiance and I are going to do it together. We are getting married on August 28, 2010, so I will be able to get through 2 cycles of it if I need to.

I am naturally athletic, I work out 3-5 days a week at the gym and play hockey on Sunday nights in a womens rec league. But since I went from a physical job to a desk job 2 years ago, I've put on 20 lbs.

Any tips or advice to get me through it??

Good luck to you!! I will be here for support and to complain about how much it hurts!!

Default How to Stay Fit in Winter?

How to Stay Fit in Winter?

It stinks when you make a New Year's Resolution to get fit right in the middle of winter which is one of the hardest times to get moving. It can be tough to stick with your exercise program when winter hits. Winter can frustrate the most motivated exercisers. And if you're not so motivated, it's all too easy to pack your workout gear away with your summer clothes.

The key to staying motivated during the winter is first, to make it as easy as possible to do your workouts and, second, to recognize when you're starting to get bored with your workouts and make a change before you really lose interest. The following suggestions will give you some ideas for making winter exercise more comfortable and more interesting:

    * Walk indoors: Walking is a good way to stay fit and healthy. However, in order to avoid cold weather of winter, you can simply replace your outdoor sessions by walking indoors, probably in the living area of your room. Walking indoors makes you feel safe and provides a dry, warm temperature to do it.
